Remote monitoring: an essential ally for APD patients

Thinking about the comfort and well-being of our patients, Baxter RCS has implemented remote monitoring in more than 1,053 users since 2017.
It is a model that connects patients with the Baxter RCS team in a remote and more practical way.

From the homes of our patients, the model allows us to obtain data in an automated way about the dialysis that is performed at home day by day and thanks to this, it allows us to adjust the therapy immediately, if necessary.

With the help of this real-time data, transfers can be eliminated by the prompt reaction of medical staff, who can assess and give a timely understanding of how treatment is progressing at home.
